Moorish food is all about vibrant flavours! It’s a burst of fragrant, spicy, sweet, smoky, sour, fruity and fresh all hitting your taste buds at this immersive cooking workshop celebrating the flavours of the Moors. These nomadic people influenced many of the best cuisines known to man – Spanish, North African and Mediterranean to name a few.
Coming from a Middle eastern, North African and Jewish Spanish background Chef Ronit encourages students in her classes to use an array of spices to elevate classical dishes from roast veggies, chicken red meat and seafood. Understand new and old ingredients and flavour combinations to enhance your sense of adventure.
To welcome you on arrival you will be met with a variety of homemade nibbles, seasonal drinks and an introduction to the cuisine and menu to be cooked. All classes include booklet of recipes to take home.
Take in the stunning scenery on our property in the rolling hills of Myocum, overlooking a lagoon and wander the organic veggie gardens.
